Martial Arts Awards · Free planning resource
Dojo Award Arrival Date Estimator
Give the estimator one date, the last class night the box can arrive, and four weekday allowances: receiving, transit, production and proof reading. Dojo Award Studio's tool steps back through the calendar, skips Saturdays and Sundays, and prints the latest dispatch date. No delivery service is consulted. Transit and production figures must be copied from your written quote.
Build your plan
Enter durations from a current written quote and carrier service. Weekends are skipped; holidays, customs delays and carrier cutoffs are not modeled. A zero allowance means you explicitly allow no time for that stage.
The decision behind a martial arts division award order
Placement awards, rank recognition and instructor appreciation need different wording. A division name should be understood by the recipient after the event, including the approved discipline and level where needed. Confirm medal sets and presentation plaques as separate quantities.
Keep with your brief: Discipline, division, placement and approved rank wording.

Arrival − receiving allowance − transit − production − proof review, subtracting entered weekday counts
The dispatch date is an arithmetic checkpoint, not a booked collection. If the carrier, production team or receiving contact cannot support a stage, revise that allowance and calculate again. For an international order, agree who supplies import information and receives carrier questions before approving the dispatch plan.
When must plaques ship for a Friday evening grading?
A judo club grades on a Friday evening and hands out ranks before everyone leaves the mat. The secretary wants the Belt Rank Plaque order at the club by the Tuesday before, since the dojo is only staffed on class nights. He types that Tuesday into the first field. The production and transit entries come straight off the club's Dojo Award Studio quote, and he adds a few weekdays of his own for the head coach to go through the proof. Out comes a dispatch date and, earlier still, the date the coach must begin reading. A public holiday sits inside that span, so he pads the receiving allowance by hand.
Check these details before using the result
- Entering the grading date as arrival
- Use the last class night before the event when someone can open the box, not the evening of the grading itself.
- Assuming the dojo is staffed on weekdays
- The estimator counts every weekday as usable. If nobody is at the dojo on some of them, extend the receiving allowance.
- Copying transit from an older quote
- Transit to a branch overseas is not the transit to the head dojo. Use the number on this order's quote, not last season's.
Choose the pieces your plan describes
Use these designs to discuss the physical format, personalization and intended use. The images are original AI-generated concepts; final dimensions, material and construction are developed in the quote and proof.

Design concept · Walnut, metal and sculpted relief
Belt Rank Plaque
Use the exact rank terminology your school awards. A promotion plaque records an achievement; if you want to display a physical belt as well, specify its folded dimensions and request a holder in the design.

Martial Arts Tournament Trophy
Separate forms, sparring and other categories exactly as your event lists them. Include the age or rank division when it distinguishes the result, and avoid combining several placements into one ambiguous title.

Black Belt Achievement Plaque
Confirm the rank notation with the instructor and retain the school's spelling of the discipline. Choose a brief dedication that reflects the student's work rather than adding credentials or affiliations that are not part of the award.

Dojo Recognition & Instructor Plaque
Choose who is presenting the gift: one class, the teaching team or the wider dojo. A specific line about patience, mentorship or commitment makes the plaque more personal than a list of class times or titles.

3D Fist or Kick Motif Trophy
Select a pose that represents the intended discipline and provide a reference for the design review. Keep thin limbs and small details in proportion to the trophy, with the competitor information on a separate base plate.

Does running the estimator book anything for our grading?
No. The estimator prints dates from what you typed and tells nobody. Dojo Award Studio holds no production slot because of it, and no parcel service is arranged. Treat the output as a test of the grading date, then put those same dates in the quote request, where they can be answered in writing.
What should we change if the plan runs out of time?
Change one entry and look again. A single approver shortens proof reading. Delivery to the head instructor's home can shorten receiving. Rush production is another question to raise. For a grading, proofing every candidate before the test helps most, because afterwards only the pass list is left to confirm.
Which buying guide should you read next?
All buying guidesCoordinate a multi-dojo order through one shared item schedule, with separate rank approvals, exact names, destination quantities and receiving owners for every location.
A personalized header names the display; a complete belt rack must also provide the approved belt-holding components and mounting arrangement. Compare the complete included scope.
Black belt gift and plaque results are marketplace listings with no editorial guidance. This page gives a fields table, a wording bank of original lines grouped by giver and by length with exact character counts, junior black belt and Poom wording, and gift formats matched to Dojo Award Studio products, while telling buyers to confirm rank terms with their school.
Use grading plaques to record an approved rank milestone and tournament medals to recognize the event’s defined result, with separate eligibility, wording and quantities.
